STANDART® PCR 212 Aluminum Powder by Eckart is a silver-colored, silicon dioxide encapsulated non-leafing aluminum pigment. It offers outstanding processing properties during the powder coating application. It exhibits protection against corrosive chemicals because of the barrier effect of the silicon dioxide layer. It provides unique metallic brilliance, high color strength and easy processing with corona and tribo techniques. It possesses good shear stability. STANDART® PCR 212 Aluminum Powder has a shelf life of 36 months.

The aluminium pigments of the PCR series are inorganically encapsulated with silicon dioxide. On the one hand this silica coating provides excellent processing properties during powder coating application, on the other hand – due to the barrier effect of the SiO2-layer – it guarantees a certain protection against corrosive chemicals. The typical pigment level of PCR aluminium pigments varies between 0.5% and 5.0%. The basic product programme of PCR grades ranges from very coarse to very fine.
